Ponytail with Rope Braids
- Part the hair down the middle.
- Section from the crown to behind each ear and clip.
- Tie the remaining hair into a ponytail (high or low).
- Take one front section and split it into 2.
- Twist both pieces, then twist them together in the opposite direction.
- Secure the rope braid into the ponytail with an elastic.
- Repeat on the other side.
- Add more rope braids if you like for extra detail.
Twisted Half Up, Half Down
- Part the hair down the middle.
- Take a section from the crown to behind each ear.
- Clip the rest of the hair out of the way.
- Bring both sections to the back of the head.
- Tie them together with a small elastic.
- Flip the ponytail through (under itself) to create a twist.
- Tighten gently for a neat finish.
Crown Braid
- Part the hair down the middle to the nape.
- Clip one side out of the way.
- French braid one side from the forehead to the nape, staying close to the ear.
- Repeat on the other side, but braid from the nape up to the forehead.
- Wrap both braids around the head to form a crown.
- Secure with pins.
