Add a little sparkle to the summer holidays with our beautiful Butterfly Sun Catcher! A fun and creative activity for little crafters, it's the perfect activity to keep busy on sunny afternoons. Simply hang your finished masterpiece in a window and watch it catch the light, filling every day with a touch of butterfly magic.

You will need:
- Toilet rolls
- Coloured cellophane film
- Coloured lolly sticks
- Glue Gun
- Scissors
- Pipe Cleaners
- Pen
Method:
- Cut a toilet roll into four equal rings, then gently pinch each one into a teardrop shape.
- Cut a square of coloured cellophane for each wing, choosing a different colour if you'd like.
- Place each cardboard teardrop onto the cellophane and glue it in place using PVA glue or a hot glue gun (adult supervision required).
- Once the glue is dry, carefully trim away the excess cellophane around each teardrop.
- Glue the four wings onto a coloured lolly stick to create your butterfly.
- Cut two short pieces of pipe cleaner, curl the ends to make antennae, and glue them to the back of the lolly stick.
- Leave everything to dry completely.
Ta-da! Your beautiful butterfly sun catcher is ready to flutter into a sunny window!
